daytrotter.

the minute the door closed
i wished i was still sitting on that leather seat.
i cursed poor batteries and writing.
my mittens to absorb the salty water.
i gripped tightly to the wheel
as the wheels rolled backwards.

i continued on as quickly as i could.
knowing my ride would be short.
stopped. parked. stayed.
existing in that moment.
feeling everything and nothing
traveling in their pair.

the build up to the breakdown
is happening faster and faster.
in these days that have past.

we shared similar sleeves
on the arms in which we enwrapped each other in.

everythings alright.
but i wish you would be there
each time i come crashing down....
